		<description>Just to clarify pwnage is for mac. If you have windows then you need to use winpwn. I had the same problem as freenrich with winpwn and had no 02 signal and the phone dialler showed US-style numbers with hyphens ie 01234 456789 became 012-344-567-89. there was also no option in settings  for network selection. Have had to restore to origininal settings to get 02 back and await further updates in this thread. btw good instructions on how to use winpwn on you tube by willdta - search How To Jailbreak A 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2 iPod Touch / iPhone /iPhone 3G With WINPWN 2.5</description>

I go to type it &#38; nothing is typed. the only keys that seem to work are the enter key &#38; ctrl.
can anyone help?

Im using Putty &#38; Windows.
command 
ssh root@ip_address_of_my_iphone
and it brings up the thing asking for the password but cant type
